First Jump - Static Line.

We invite you to our Dropzone to make your static line jump every Saturday. The First Jump Course consists of about 2 hours of ground school, while one of our really experienced instructors (more than a few thousand jumps!) will teach you every thing you need to know to safely make your first jump with the classic round military canopy, followed by your first jump - weather permitting. You will be taken to an altitude of about 3000 feet above Moscow for the jump. The jump itself consists of a simple "poised" exit from the door of a MI-8 helicopter or An-2 aircraft. As you fall away from the plane, the main canopy is deployed by a "static line" attached to the aircraft. You will not need to pull any ripcord! You will experience about two to three seconds of falling as the parachute opens and two minutes of landing enjoying yourself maneuring your canopy. .

Requirements:
Besides having pants, trainers and something with sleeves on, to make a static line jump you are required to be over 14 years of age, weight not more than 200 lbs and be in a reasonably good physical shape, as you will wear around 50 lbs of equipment, endure opening shock, maneur the canopy, land and possibly walk a good distance on foot from the landing area to the local bar.

The First Jump (Static line) jump including training course and rental of the parachute runs RUR 500 (about USD 16). You will obtain your first jump certificate for as little as RUR 30 (USD 1) and may be a new girlfriend - free of charge!

No military paraboots, no heavy motorcycle helmets - only your own tennis shoes!

The MI-8 helicopter and An-2 aircraft are well known around the world for their best flight abilities and your round military canopy D1-5U is the best one in the world in terms of safety.
